The reason why conveyor belts occupy a very critical position. Because it is not only the traction belt part, but also the rolling bearing part, which is expensive and accounts for about 30% to 50% of the cost of all continuous conveyors. Once the conveyor belt becomes soft due to wear, problems such as reduced compressive strength, reduced service life, and belt deviation will occur. Below we analyze several key wear modes for you and propose some maintenance measures based on the basic theory of consumption.

1. The feed trough and the conveyor belt are worn, and the feed trough and the conveyor belt are in close contact. Its design scheme and equipment are very harmful to the wear of the conveyor belt, which is the key method of conveyor belt wear. When the azimuth angle between the material and the conveyor belt is greater than or equal to 90 degrees, it will cause serious wear on the conveyor belt. Hard blocks with long inclusions stick to the outlet and wear or scratch the belt. In order to reduce the wear of the inlet conveyor belt, the material moves at exactly the same speed as the conveyor belt during the entire feeding process.

2. The material is carried with a self-falling aspect ratio of less than 1 meter, and then the impact on the belt is as small as possible. The feed chute is equipped with a bar screen to make the coarse material fall into the conveyor first, and an octagonal buffer zone is displayed. The effective chute and guide chute are designed to prevent the material from falling into the belt; the total width of the guide chute baffle becomes narrower and narrower along the conveyor belt direction. In addition, the guide chute should be widened to the speed at which the material reaches the belt.

Preventive measures

1. The selection of conveyor belts needs to consider many factors, such as: the relevant requirements of the conveyor belt conveying system; the requirements of terrain environmental conditions and; the type, form and characteristics of the conveyed material, requiring a large bandwidth, working tension and conveying capacity; the small diameter of the roller; Gr meshing and lateral stiffness; load support; the length of the curve and transition section; tightening square. The type, stroke, feeding point and conditions of the conveyor belt, the operating cycle; the requirements of impact resistance, tear resistance, joint conditions, etc.

2. The conveying components are basically standard equipment. When ordering, we need to choose the products of the belt conveyor manufacturer. Only when the conveyor manufacturer has a good reputation can we guarantee the accuracy and quality of each part. The installation of each component should be carried out in accordance with the current conveying equipment installation and acceptance standards. The parts that are prone to belt wear (such as skirts, scrapers, various cleaners, etc.) should be adjusted to reduce wear during installation, and should be carefully inspected during operation.
