Today, we’re discussing PU conveyor belts, which are widely used in the food processing industry. 90% of the food processing industry uses PU conveyor belts. Today, we will introduce the applications and characteristics of food-grade PU conveyor belts.
1. Tear-resistant, highly elastic, and with good impact resistance, allowing for normal operation in complex environments.
2. Excellent water resistance; it can operate normally even in cold and humid environments without affecting the food-grade PU conveyor belt. The conveyor belt can still be used normally without affecting its service life.
3. Better acid and alkali resistance than other conveyor belts. Although the price is relatively higher, in the long run, PU conveyor belts will be more economical.
4. Compared to other conveyor belts, food-grade PU conveyor belts are lighter and thinner, and have good plasticity during use, which can improve conveying capacity and reduce energy consumption, achieving both energy saving and efficient conveying.
5. Efficient disinfection, ensuring hygiene and safety. The belt material is high-temperature resistant and corrosion-resistant, able to withstand high-temperature washing and various disinfectants. In actual operation, high-temperature steam or disinfectants can be used to thoroughly disinfect the conveyor belt, effectively killing bacteria and viruses on the surface and ensuring the hygienic safety of the product during the production process.
